3. Will Javatrax work on a network system?
No, Javatrax will not work on a network system.
It must be loaded on each individual computer. The Tritone
Music Series, however, can be accessed through Explorer on
a network.
4. What kind of musical instrument do I
need?
Any General Midi instrument may be used with
the Tritone Music Series. We recommend using either a 61-note
keyboard or an 88-note digital piano.
5. How do I hook up my musical instrument
to my computer?
You will need either a MIDI to Joystick or
MIDI to USB Connector Cable. For more information please refer
to page 8 in the Setup and Installation Guide.
6. What kind of MIDI cable do I use?
You will need either a MIDI to Joystick or
MIDI to USB Connector Cable.
7. How do I setup my audio so that I only
hear myself and not disturb others?
If your musical instrument has audio inputs
then you will be able to direct the audio from the sound card
through your instrument. With headphones plugged into your
instrument, you will hear the audio from the course plus your
instrument. One end of the audio cable will have to plug into
the OUTPUT jack of your sound card and the other end of the
cable will have to plug into the INPUT jack(s) of your musical
instrument. You should be able to get an audio cable at your
local Audio Store. For more information please refer to page
12 in the Setup and Installation Guide.
8. Why do I need the Shockwave, Flash and
Quicktime plugins loaded on my computer?
You need the Shockwave, Flash and Quicktime
plugins loaded on your computer in order to interact with
the multimedia instruction and activities and view the movies
with in the course.
